Holy Family Village, Taguig City, June 24, 2012 --- Technology never ceise to amaze me!
Since the onslaught of digital photography, everyone gained access to the best technologies as far as capturing images that happens in our daily grind called life. Brands such as Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax, Samsung  to name a few, have readily fed the growing market’s demand for quality DLSRs and other digital cameras.

Now let us focus on today’s breed of photographers.

Like the early classical painters such as Nicola Pisano, Donatello, Giovanni Bellini, Leonardo da Vinci, ParmigianinoNicholas Hilliard,  to August Macke, Franz Marc, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Alvar Cawen,  to Edgar Degas and Pablo Picasso, the new breed of photographers now are likened to be the modern day renaissance artists.

Each photographer today interprets, expresses and captures what they feel, see and experience – concepts coming from the different environment and situations were they are located. Each of these photographer shows their artistry, through the way they have captured life, through their camera lenses.

From macro-photography, to casual, to fashion, to nude photography, to events photography, and other forms are all but form of modern-day expressionism. And through these, they practise their individual beliefs and religions – calling it The Zen of Photography at times – thus some evenly be similar in executing the shot, or different approach.  So it is best not to compare apples from oranges, as far as the semblance of the different approaches from these photographers. It’s like different religions and different perspective of faith.

Nevertheless, they practice their crafts to the best of their abilities.

And like those early renaissance artists, these modern-day artists have created beautiful and majestic photographs that can last a lifetime!

So next time you see a photographer and wanted to hire his services, do not short-change that person. For he may turn out the next Ansel Adam or Richard Avendon or Sarah Moon or one of the best 100 photographers of all time.

Who knows... you might chance upon the next renaissance man.

Life is Good!
